Help to make tuneful sub bass (LTJ Bukem style)

I want to get that typical LTJ Bukem thumping musical like sub bass for my productions as heard around 2:20 on this youtube track /watch?v=W47hwX2899E

How would I tweak a sub bass patch for this? Or are there any presets on synths??

You seem to make a lot of "how to make that sound" threads. You should check this video:

Re: Help to make tuneful sub bass (LTJ Bukem style)

I would recommend you checking out the book how to make a sound, as well as checking out some YouTube videos on synthesis. there are also many forum posts on how to achieve this on the KVR forum if I was in on my phone, I would send you some links, but just do a search there and you'll find what you need :-)
you're not sure how to achieve it on your sense, try to find a preset that works, and supplement that with reference material. ask yourself, what timber and qualities do I want this bass to have? Do I wanted to sound hollow, buzzy, thick? use that to narrow down the type of wave forms that you will need for its basis

Thanks, I got very close with Massive but the Watch That Sub! preset in Z3ta is exactly what I need, also in Leads soft is the Alone in the Arena lead sound which I was looking for, Z3ta's an awesome VST for IDM :mayonesa:

Re: Help to make tuneful sub bass (LTJ Bukem style)

It's a sine wave bass, with a subtle pitch envelope going downward. Typical plucking ADSR envelope with longer release. Voila.
