Re: Official DIY Thread: Electronics and hardware builds

I need a midi controller with knobs only. To control my ableton and many other things cause I hate using my mouse. However all offers (like midi fighter twister) are ridiculously expensive.

All I need is an inexpensive solution with minimum of 16 knobs that can store a few "pages" of mappings (optional but ideal so I dont have to map new when I start ableton)

Unfortunately I cant find circuit layouts or software code for it. It looks ideal for my purposes.

I can solder and read some code etc. but I am nowhere nearly capable of designing and coding all myself. Can anybody help me? Is there some open source shit or easy-to-follow tutorial or anything you can help me with?

Re: Official DIY Thread: Electronics and hardware builds

If you're a glutton for punishment you can totally build something like that! or for less money in components and er... time, you can get a Novation launchcontrol for $50.

16 knobs, some page buttons and has a script for Ableton...
