What chord can I finish off this progression with?

I'm trying to make a trancey-type song with a lot of strings but I can't find what chord to finish this progression with.

I'm using: Fmaj Bbmaj Dmin Cmaj Asus4 Bbmaj Fmaj

I'm in the key of F Major and I'm trying to create a chord that sounds higher, and possible happier for the 8th chord before I loop it back around again.

What can I use?

Just messing around really quick I found that going back to Cmaj sound pretty good, although it's not higher.

Thanks, that seems to be as close as possible. I'm also finding that Gdim also works.

Neither of those are in key. I would've tried Gmaj or something but it didn't really fit.

Re: What chord can I finish off this progression with?

You could modulate to Fminor.

Or you could end with a long C7...

Or just end with Aminor.

Re: What chord can I finish off this progression with?

If you are looping, thene you need a chord that will pull you back to the first chord of your loop (Fmaj).
That will be:
C7 , Am 7 , Dm 7 (and then maybe changing the forst note to Fmaj 6) , Em , E aug (going chromaticly) or Gb dim (going chromaticly).
p.s. I know the E and the Gb aren't in key, but doing that will creat a tention that will be resolved in the F.
I hope I helped.

Re: What chord can I finish off this progression with?

Try this:
Fmaj Bbmaj Dmin Cmaj Asus4 Bbmaj Cmaj Fmaj

it has a IV-V-I Cadence at the end.
