Monomachine users - weird thing happening

So I scoured the internet + manual for an answer to this, went through all the fried menus on the monomachine looking but couldn't find an answer.

Basically, I don't know how I do it but sometimes when I use a synth in a kit, the note will play when I press the keyboard but when I release the key/send the sequencer a note-off command it will play the same note several octaves lower. This function is specific to the track and will happen even if I change the synth type. If I change kits it doesnt stay on that track, it seems to be saved in the kit memory.

I know that the arpeggiator is off, and I have wracked my brain trying to figure out where I can edit this feature. I've had the MM for yonks but am still figuring out some features. I'm guessing its a really simple answer but i can't figure it out by myself so I would rly appreciate any help and give blowjobs all round :badger:
