Korg Asking what should their next product be...

Saw this posted on the Korg USA facebook page asking for input on what they should develop next .

Ive already asked for a new generation electribe with both sampling and synthesis and some better quality FX.

Re: Korg Asking what should their next product be...

I asked for the same thing, ESx with at least one analogue track in the style of the monotron.
I forgot the effect part, but that's a very good point...

One thing that would be nice to see would be 3 band eq and dual filters per track.

Korg should just make analog synths again.

Re: Korg Asking what should their next product be...

well, they just did 4 analog synths (monotron, monotron duo, monotron delay and monotribe) now they only have to combine them together...

I got the duo, only $50. Pretty cool. I'll have to check out the monotron delay and monotribe.

Re: Korg Asking what should their next product be...

they should look at making a serious raw synth like an ms-20, give moog a run for their money

i bought a monotron and i hate it, doesnt seem to be useful at all

An MS2000 with a kaoss pad built into the unit. Or at the very least, the touchscreen XY control. That would be awesome!!!!

Not likely to happen, but as a beatbox nerd i'd love to see a newer more robust entry into the electribe series.

I totally agree, KONTROL 49 was ok for Keys/Knobs/Sliders/XY'knobbything'
However it lacked any Kaossilator madness..

It'd definitely be nice if it could accept midi somehow.

They better include an actual amp envelope this time. And lose the gimmicky tubes.

Re: Korg Asking what should their next product be...

they should partner with Bad Dragon to release a midi controller covered in fantasy dildos that you manipulate by squeezing and twisting around and rubbing

imagine some crazy breakcore guy on stage with that going nuts on a big grid of freaky dragon dicks

Re: Korg Asking what should their next product be...

Definitely need a new electribe. Basically mixing the ESX-1 with the EMX...

Better FX's, more memory, and comes with editing software on the computer.

Possibly mixing with a koass pad as someone mentioned earlier. Would give them all of my money!!!
