I'm pretty sure it's one of his friends who got interesting in making music after he showed them one of his vsts he'd made.
Glad you're liking it, I thought it was pretty decent.
More than decent! One of the few artists this year I've genuinely felt excited to hear more material from.
It sounds like Zvλd really knows what Zvλd is doing with the composition in these tracks. A rare thing in electronic music these days...sadly. There is such a strong sense of calculated and intelligent harmonic progressions in Bazilleon. I find myself mentally humming the chords involuntarily and wondering just wtf the logic of them is
The acid'y sound design is the icing on the cake after the composition. Which is how I'd personally like to hear more electronic music executed.
It wouldn't surprise me to learn Zvλd possibly learned some other approach to music before electronic music and was later introduced to it, because there is a different level of musicianship found in these tracks not usually apparent in electronic musicians randomly smashing locked scales into a sequencer and hoping for the best.
Thanks again for sharing. I can see myself listening to Bazilleon for a long long time.
