[Sound Design] Windows Start-up Sound

Hi all, I'm starting to get more into sound design and I thought what better way to experiment than to create my own Windows Start-up Sound. Check it out and let me know what you think about the timing, overall EQ, and atmosphere. And yes, it draws some inspiration from Eno's 95 startup.

Cheers
M

I rated earlier because I liked the idea, and the design was really good.

Re: [Sound Design] Windows Start-up Sound

@stem collector: Thanks! Glad you liked it
@Broton42: Thanks for the rating and feedback, glad to hear I'm on the right track.
@xNOISEx: This isn't a full-featured track . . . yet. I designed it specifically to be a start-up sound, which will eventually become part of a Windows 7/8 sound scheme. But now that you mention it, I suppose I could develop the theme a bit more. Glad you liked it!

Thanks again for the feedback guys, means a lot.

Cheers,
M

Awesome, great as it is but as the others said, would really enjoy seeing a track made out of this..

Hell, now I wish I had this for my start up sound ;(

This is delicious.

I agree with the comments about a track being made from this.

Also it might be neat to get some noticeable automation on an eq in this.

Re: [Sound Design] Windows Start-up Sound

@Bridges & @leftfoot: Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely consider making this a full track, but for now the focus is on completing the Windows sound scheme. I'll have the entire scheme available for free download once it's done (should be within the next three weeks).

An added bonus: Here's the Windows exit/shutdown sound, thoughts?
