Re: Glitch techniques

Just a couple of things off the top of my head.

* when stuffing around, hit record on another track and record everything. When messing around with glitch it's often difficult to produce the same result twice, because of the indeterminate process. Then you can audition bits later on and find the parts you like.

* always use interesting sound sources. doesn't matter what process you're using for glitch, if the sample itself isn't particularly interesting it's less likely you'll get an interesting result.
