Anyone ever try a Ouija board?

What happened?

"Nothing" will be just as valid an answer as some crazy shit.

Not going to try one, just curious since even skeptics and the like can have weird experiences with them and whatnot.

Re: Anyone ever try a Ouija board?

i did a big ouija back in 2001, in telford. it was a light, breezy summer's day and all the birds joined in sweet chorus, onlookers to our satanic scene. dave, will, susan, tom and i performed the ritual. how our hands trembled! the first letter came - an S. the birds chattered excitedly while we glanced at each other nervously, our hands trembling (as i mentioned before). now another, this time an O. what could it spell, and more to the point WHO or WHAT was spelling this word? was that it? SO? beelzebub is a man of few words, presumably because he used so many letters in his name. but no! another letter, an A. and now a P, our hands guided seemingly by an unseen malevolent/benevolent force. all we could tell was it was doing some sort of spelling-based guiding. the birds were singing ecstatically at this point, although to be honest i was starting to wish they would shut up. susan looked like she wanted to say something, but we were held to silence by the big ouija pact we'd all agreed to beforehand. Y the sky seemed to scream in lazy silence, the horizon pulling at the blue T we were glancing at each other, hoping we were all I keeping track of the letters since it would be embarrassing to ask to have them again T W shuffling nervously around in the isolated park, the birds carrying on their incessant droning and chirping like A demented noise machines N K.

it was over! laughing in deep relief and hilarity, we looked to each other, happy faces, happy times

THEN WE ALL DIED

but who was ouija?

Never tried one, I don't believe in anything so it wouldn't phase me the slightest bit.

(I still like to hear stories, personally)

I don't have anyone in particular I wish to contact with such divination, so no. Without focus, it's a ridiculous venture.

I tried twice, both times the ouija board gave us accurate results about future events. My friends got very hooked to it until they run into troubles, then we never did it again. It is dangerous to play with things we don't understand.

Ouija board? That thing helped me to do my homework.
Yeah, don't play with things you cannot understand. Read a manual first!

It only ever works if you have 2-4 players. But with a third and fourth I wonder what happens when everyone tries to mess with the other people.

I became national spelling champion by using a ouija board.

Used to own one of the Milton Bradley variety back in the early 90s. We messed with it while stoned and drunk a few times but not much after. Gave it to my sister about a decade ago.

Honestly would rather have my goddamn telescope back (gave that to her as well).

Re: Anyone ever try a Ouija board?

We had a guy apply for the million $ challenge with an Ouija board when I was with the American skeptics (where you can win a million buckaroos by displaying something considered paranormal to a board of conjurers and scientists).

He claimed contact with ancient spirits, there was a small problem tho, he only got a hold of spirits that he claimed had dyslexia. And it wasn't even a joke, the guy was nuts.

No, there's no point doing it

No useful information would be gathered, just low spirits joking around
