What do you think the next decade holds in music?

I have a suspicion (hope?) people are still going to prefer human artists. Maybe it will be a renaissance of lo-fi music made with basic tools?

Lo-fi and so much more… real musicians playing real instruments
I have no problem with digital or hardware enhancements… even AI Assist …. But if a human isn’t the creator and in the driver seat then what’s the point?

AI bs everywhere.
Devs marketing AI tools at lazy unimaginative hacks.
I had a recent altercation with someone who was demanding a “text to audio loop creator”.
These people aren’t musicians. They’re lazy fakers looking for shortcuts to instant adulation.
I think we’ll have more of this until the AI gold-rush runs out of steam and the zeitgeist dictates acyual soulful music rather than the cheap facsimiles AI will create without the understanding of how things interconnect on a soulful level rather than a logical algorithmic approximation of music.
