Just read Qiantas post as Im posting this and exactly the same. Everything is first impressions on notepad into here!
1 Roos
Love the vibe of this one, it’s bordering on the edge of an old school Dr Who soundtrack but cuts away really nicely, like the vocoder and overall track structure. This for me is my favourite...bloody welsh!

I’m a huge Pink Floyd fan and this just has Floydism stamped all over it, a real pleasure to listen to. Can imagine submerging in a Spa with some health therapist soothing away the days stresses and strains. So simple, yet effective and that really does coin how well this track is composed in my opinion. Great atmosphere and vibe for the hipsters...

Abstract and conventionally unconventional, it works. Not my personal bag of inspiration. A little dark for my taste, so not going to comment too much on this on. That vocal is just creepy as hell with the instrumental tones, the overall track structure and instrument placements work really well and no doubt achieved what they set out to do.
4 Metaside
I really liked this one, going to relate it to the Orb...just oozes that vibe. Really well done across the overall track, flows and works well rhythmically. Nice vibe and I’m sure I can hear some pan pipes tucked away in there. Nice break around 3.23mins. Works well in my opinion.
5 Creepr
There’s a sense of reaching for depth and achievement in this track. It’s certainly got a mood and wains into it, I really like the gentle piano concerto going on with the battling percussion fade. I really feel this just needed a final chisel and polish around the edges throughout to blend everything a little better. But all said and done, very easy to listen to and nothing jumps out to make the listener reach for the next button. Nice work.
6. Mysta
This guy needs to learn about low end balance in the mix! Overthinks and overcomplicates the productions process!
My son makes his official debut appearance

He's so proud @ 4yrs!
7. Yes Mobo
Nice intro, straight into that off beat vibe with the trippy hippy wandering around wondering if those Colombian mushrooms have started yet, or simply having a flashback relapse! Yep been there, done that and the Mexican Caps...whooo. Back on track, nice mix and blend of rhythmic sections. Reminds me of Ninja Records/DJ Foods early work. A little off pure moods, but a great indie production IMHO. Nice one. Interesting vocals, in the bath singing?
8 AM
Now I expect awesomeness from this artist purely from knowing his style should be slick so starting this as I listen...nice slow build, big in japan chords over a floaty vibe. Really hoping for a nice gentile beat comes in, still waiting at 2.20mins+...why does this remind me of Bowie? Nice ambient track and exactly what I would expect from AM...quality ambience
9 Artificer
Waiting for the attitude to fly in with intelligence. Yep it’s there. Dark, warm and enticing. Really like this retro vibe, blade runner meets Stanley Kubrick on Mars. There’s a deep heavy contortion of pads and sounds merging into a thoughtful structure of anarchy and discord. Like it. Very ambient, works well.
10 Neural
Yes straight into that Trip Hop vibe, upbeat and mellow massive attack vibe. Love this, my cuppa tea Guv! Roni Size pops in with a biccy and we are travelling in forms with some more Ninja label vibes. Love this to bits great work mate! Nuff said. Perfect Trip Hop in my book. Less Pur Moods, but still fits in. Sax...Argh lovely. This is a keeper, big grin

Pass the smoke for a toke and sip back on the bourbon as you exhale!
11 TOS
This is really interesting. Again a nice Trip Hop and laid back vibe, nice drums and a tame under scoring of sound works well. Time shredding away as a gentle session of electrolysis entails your engagement with a myriad of percussion gently purging your mind deeper into a void of madness. It’s almost uncomfortable to listen too, but not in a bad way. It really works well and totally unorthodox in my mind. Great work.
12 White Noise
Nice musical intro and chilled beat. Easy on the ears, would like to have some more depth to the sounds in parts, the accordion chord sounds a little too high end and could do with some chorus and reverb. Musically nice. Not overbearing and easy to listen to. Nice key work and space in the composition. For me missing an overall depth. Not bad at all.
13 Concrete
Nice production work with the sidechaining, melody and sounds throughout. Well produced with some thoughtful sound placement which is the charm of this track and then it stumps up a more upbeat vibe. You feel the torment in the mood, almost the undergrowth of the jungle battling a monsoon. Really atmospheric in my mind and this to me is what this style is about, conjuring up images in your mind and taking you on a journey, this does that so well. Great work.
14 RFJ
Starting to listen to this and again know RFJs works, expecting something torn and self-tormenting in the challenge

that’s a compliment! Nice gentle persona and loving that vibrato as the drums pounce in. Intelligent chord and build, summing up anticipation of a release. The chords build nicely maintaining the growth and there we have it 1.38 it drops in with a lovely vocal and chord structure maintaining the same broken drum beat, this works so well. Keeps the mind going higher and loving the 2.10 min crescendo. Nice piece. Really well thought out and organic, masterful work. I get some people may not enjoy the choice of vocal, but it works with the piece. Only minor critique again is the depth of the overall mix. But this may just be me! Great track.

Yay - longest track on the release, that’s a hat trick and great to be the outro. I cannot tell you how long it took me to get this finished. Original was over 9 mins...totally reworked and changed a lot on this track. This was really challenging due to the number of instrumental parts used, they may sound like just one or 2 pads and Arps, but there's a shit load going on under the hood. I think it's about 60 different track parts including different percussions and drums, synth overlays and orchestral parts which for me is a head fuck. Hope it works and thanks to peoples feedback in helping to get this one finished. Not an epic, but I’m proud of what I achieved in this project. Still need to get my mastering skills sorted! Bah
Guys all these tracks are excellent. A totally great album to have on in the back ground, variant of moods and interpretations. Fantastic.
I know a lot of the subs...But please stand forward Bards of Komodo, Y E S Motherboard. Tinnitus of Science and Concrete. All new names to me on the IDM forum boards
Congrats guys another great release.
Voted Roos as my favourite to be most fitting to the Pure Moods album series.
But I echo Qiantas...Neural best track hands down for me.
