Portable battery operated MIDI host

Does anyone know of a portable battery or Li ion operated MIDI host to hook up instruments to MIDI controllers. And since I know yall well enough: no, Im not looking to schlepp a laptop around.
I know Kenton makes one, but its using a 9V pedal style charger. Im going to try the MIDIplus host unit as it uses a 5V mini-USB power input, so might work with portable phone chargers.
In short, Im looking for something with a form factor of an external hard drive and integrated power source.

Re: Portable battery operated MIDI host

Primarily I am trying to connect the Deluge to any type of MIDI controller, such as a MIDI keyboard, Novation Launchkey, or QuNeo.
