Anthony Shakir is another great Electro (and House and Techno) producer from Detroit. Some examples:

Anthony Shakir - Life Of A Planet Raider

And last but not least Gary Martin who produces more Techno than Electro but now & then he puts out an awesome electro groover. His productions are so damn funky. I have some of his records and he has such a unique groove.

Yeah there is nothing else i can add to thiss, but an new school electro-house track, the real "electro" pretty much died off and people refer to electro as electro house now a days. I duno why ppl think it has not soul, listen 2 this. Its crazy and chaotic, but think it has soul, maybe thats just me.

Yep most people refer to this as electro, or they refer to the whole electronic (dance) music thing as electro. I always ask some question to find out what they actually mean..
Btw, i really dig that track. Got to love some good electro house.

I've always asked mysled what does the Electro refers to in Electro-house...

I bet it's beacause the synth sounds were more crude, therefore it sounded more ELECTROnic...

Yeah, probably because of the raw (bass)sounds and i think that's ok.
