Richard Devine, Aphex Twin, Rhys Fulber´s works, Lustmord.
Richard Devine has got ten times as much gear as all of us together. But he also seems to know how to create sounds on any kind of synth, which speaks lots of his knowledge of synthesis. He is also very creative and not afraid to do stuff that is different.
Aphex Twin may not have all of Native Instrument´s releases, but he already does a lot with the stuff he has. He can also play the piano well and is well...APhex Twin.
Rhys Fulber is very knowledgeable about synths and productions. He is also a great songwriter.
Lustmord knows how to craft great soundscapes without sounding cheesy or annoying
For people saying Boards of Canada: I personally think that nowadays is not so difficult, technically speaking, to replicate their sound...I mean it's pretty basic! Yeah for sure the equipment they use and their personal sensitivity give to their track that unique BoC-trademark feel, but c'mon most of the time it's just a simple beat repeated for the whole song!
ps. I actually like 'em don't misunderstand!
