Wow...I normally can't be arsed with all the dubstep heavy drops and random noises people shove in to sound futuristic, but there's real artistry about this. Really good. I especially like the on about half way through with the skip beat and the drum machine pitched toms.
He's possibly one of the best sound designers around - his recent EP is also worth listening to (Bubble EP, if I recall correctly)
@ RFJ - his Surrounded and Seamless Unspeakable Something albums are quite different then his most recent EPs - Tipper's has been creating a new sound recently (bouncy, quirky, glitchy, etc) while Surrounded is highly produced organic downtempo/hip-hop - basically it's very much worth to check out his whole discography.

started sounding just like the guy who shaved half of his head with slightly better sound design, and I think he's almost trying to mimic what's big now. And he's talented as hell, so I don't know why he would resort to this
fuck I'm thinking exactly the same. I don't get it. I love some of those new tracks but others just have too much of that wubwub shit and no groove and no swing and are plain soulless.
I really hope he's aware of this and only releases those EPs like every month because he just wants to have fun with it and he's cooking some of that acid abstract IDM on the side.
I like the track with the clarinet btw ; I loved "Veil Lifter" too
Yeah. I loved Wobble Factor, Broken Soul, and even Tertiary Noise. Bubble Control & Puzzle dust started sounding just like the guy who shaved half of his head with slightly better sound design, and I think he's almost trying to mimic what's big now. And he's talented as hell, so I don't know why he would resort to this
Still haven't heard it but from to hear you tell it it sounds like a shame.
You have to remember this is the guy who influenced what you hear now. It's his take on it. He is very creative and the music on Puzzle dust and Bubble control is fantastic. Its fun and it hits hard. I'd say he has way more to offer but he's making a living putting out these records. He worked on BSJ for 4 years so whatever else he's working on should be fantastic. What about that EP he released 'Snake Eyes'. The track 'Chrome Splat' is awesome. :victory:
