I would like to know what that electro music start
Closest to that of this, are the work of Morton Subotnick
I think that this is interesting, because how I know, this guy starting work in the decade of 60's, I say that we can considerate how a pioner about the electronic scene, and he start with "noise" music, base for continue the evolution of the electronic scene, see how many posibilities have the electronic elements to manipulate the sound.
What artists pioneers in electronic music know?
Which important events that have marked a change in this type of music?
check out Musique Concrete and Karlheinz Stockhausen for the high brow classical origins
also gotta give a shout out to Lee Scratch Perry he may not have been the first but he pioneered a lot of the techniques electronic music producers use today, The Upsetter documentary is well worth watching
Pretty sure one of the first early "electronic" performances was by Edgard Varese (arguably considered a father of Electronic Music). I think he played some recordings (in the Musique Concrete style, cut up and manipulated) through a massive array of speakers in a large theatre space (something like 100 or 200 speakers). But I think like what people are saying-- it was 'popularised' and coined as actual 'electronic' music in the 70's by bands like Kraftwerk etc.
In the beginning, man discovered he had a heartbeat - he called this "rhythm". Then, he began to holler at this accomplishment - he called that "tone". Then, he multiplied, devastated, consumed, manufactured machines, and today we have electronic music.
i'm with mctoast on that stuff too. some of the first electronic instruments were something like transformers humming or something like that. somebody figured it out and stuck them together into an instrument.... or something like that. I forget too.
