Vlantis - GunPony (Flogging a Dead Horse)
Originally part of an album celebrating the soundtrack to a unfinished game, Gun Pony is one of the stand out tracks of that album, and garnered a lot of attention from the forum community.
It's this attraction to the sounds within that prompted Vlantis to bring the IDMf community together to remix this wonderful piece, and here is the result.
With takes on this fine track coming from well known forum artists and some not so prominent including Jazzyspoon, Ambient Mechanics, Numerical, Stercogburn, Mindsweeper, Cold Fus!on, UCoB, jVs, ReWIR3D, Windfallen and Jeff Appleton.
This next instalment of the IDFNetlabel catalogue is one surely not t be missed and
is out on December 4 2015!

Very cool. Sorry I didn't get off my ass (or onto it rather) and work on one for this. Vlantis had some really cool source material to work with. Will be listening the day it pops.

Sweet..really happy to have made it onto the release..now I just have to wait and see which track actually made it.
Congrats to all involved and to "Vlan the Man" for supplying the tracks and files that let us do this in the first place..much kudos, dude.
Also, a big THANK YOU to Ben, for everything on his end. I know you have a lot going on of your own and that time is gold and all that, so..yeah..thanks, man, for everything!

Oh, and don't forget the greasy brown envelop. stuffed with unmarked bills..a kilo of coke..you're granny and the dog that belongs to the kid down the street..you know, that little fat guy in the house with the blue door..his dog. Not that flouncy poodle that belongs to the skinny spotty kid..we have standards to keep on here, ya know! :badger:
PS:..and Ben wants one of those fluffy bike seat covers for when the nights get frosty...better not forget that one.

I'm excited to hear what variations and mutations everyone have brought to this release. It promises to be a remix album with a stand alone cattitude! (I love the simplicity or the artwork too)
