[Punktronica/Soundclown embed fixing] Roo Stercogburn - Kilgore's Hubba Hubba Shack

Ok this is the last thing I ever posted on Soundcloud before moving to Hearthis.at completely. Posting here so people can copy the way I got the embedded player to work for their posts until we update the advice areas.

Basically I got the track number used for embedding then used a different URL for use inbetween the SOUNDCLOUD player tags.

Instead of [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]
*username* / *trackname*

its

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]
/ *tracknumber*

If you quote this post and look at the text between the SOUNDCLOUDPLAYER tags it should become obvious.

Hope this helps

EDIT:

VICTORY! I've created a new BB tag called SOUNDCLOWN. Just place the Track ID between the tags.

E.g. [ SOUNDCLOWN ] 274277456 [ / SOUNDCLOWN ] (Obviously once again leave out the spaces)

Sounds good, Roo. I probably would have liked the kick to come through in the mix just ever so slightly more, but it's a solid and catchy tune, as is. Your voice feels stronger than earlier works I have heard.

Simply <3

This has a real kind of swinging 60’s vibe (organ much? <3) hidden behind the punky guitar and bubbling little prodigy synth. I agree with Jazzy on the kick, not an ideal system here (3inch stereo b tooth speaker at work) but its just barely there for me.

I'll take a look at the sub on the bass drum. Since I made this track I created a new go-to BD sub which I use a lot now and only have to vary it a little depending on what I'm doing

And yup, distorted organ, aiming at a kind of Rolling Stones style snuck in behind everything.

I thought the mix was too crampped and that the highs were too piercing but I got into the track around 2:20 and started tapping my leg. I guess it caught my attention even though I was texting to someone and not being fully concentrated. I like how you treated the effects on vocals though, the reverb suits you and there's a little "tube-like" sensation on it which I enjoyed.
