[electronic] turtledoveair - Genesis Sting

I havent really made this style of music in awhile but I thought I'd give it another shot.

this is just some basic breaks I guess and some leads and funky sounds.

Aye, this is worth fleshing out. I liked all the components and some parts of the tune are very funky.

Walking the cheese line in some places but that's not necessarily a bad thing, I do it all the time. Nice placement in the stereo field for some of the parts and gives everything that is going on enough space to breathe.

Good job

Re: [electronic] Genesis Sting - turtledoveair

I agree with everything Roo's said and don't really have much to add tbh..aside from I think you could get a really cool track out of this if you tried your hand at combining what you have with a slow track base with some serious sub action going on..and adding a few individual elements here and there throughout the mix, on top of what you already have.

All of this is just pure personal thoughts..I'm not suggesting you "need" to add or do any thing, other than what Roo's already suggested, if you get what I mean.

Still, nice sounds and an interesting collection of elements already at work there..hope you run with this and see where it takes you.
