Due to an incredible flow of demos getting delivered to us on daily basis, we have decided to publish some guidelines on this page, to help you out on how to deliver demos the best way.
When sending a demo, be advised that we might not give you any feedback on your demos.
The main reason for this is only because we are getting too many demos supplied, and we can't answer back everybody. All demos that we receive get listened to, and only those who we feel are interesting for us, will be answered back.
Complete track(s) need to be send over in 320kbps. When you are sending more than 1 track please archive your tracks by using Winzip or Winrar. Do NOT attach your tracks to the actual mail that you sending, this blocks and limits our email traffic. Make sure the tracks include your full artist, track and contact details so we have no troubles contacting you in case we want to. Will be nice if you include your biography, discography and your photography with your web site or social networks links if you have, and also your forum username and of course only the tracks you want us to consider for release.
please everyone, read the OP - if you would like to submit a demo MAKE SURE you include YOUR INFO (as much as possible) and DIRECT LINKS TO THE TRACKS YOU ARE SUBMITTING to the email outlibed in the OP thanks
How long is the open submission going on for? Also what genres are more likely to get chosen and what genres do you guys look for overall? I have a great remix I want to submit but I need to get my post count a bit higher.
tbh, it's noty anytyhing about genre. although your typical trance and brostep is much less likely to be even bothered with considering they're more of a mainstream electronic music. also, sending in one track really doesn't get anywhere. it's totally pointless if you consider that we only get a couple of individual tracks in and what are we supposed to do with them exactly?
you're much better off putting together a demo of 4 tracks or more in one set or easily downloadable link (no waiting times) and providing as much info about you, your music and the tracks as possible.
well yeah you become an artist releasing on the label obviously. there's no such thing as an offical IDMf label artist, just artists that have and do release some of their work on the idmfnetlabel. i really dont get what difference it makes tbh
