I'll put this here, as I think it sums up the reason I love using hardware. Really worth watching, and a stellar performance by MR. Dolby. Good fun to watch too.
A stand alone sampler player. I thought this was the real odd duck announced recently. I don't really want one, but I feel like this product is the answer to so many people's live PA queries...I've gone through lots of threads where people just wanted someone to make something like this. A super simple sample player.
I'm pretty much emptying a bunch of modules just to put the Nebulae V2 in my "this is an instrument" skiff.
See, it is stuff like this that gets me thinking "Wow, with four CV tracks on the A4 I could do some serious damage with that module." As it looks like I'd only need a power source and case. Bad. So bad. This is like a hifi, even more bad ass Bastl Microgranny (or Grandaddy in Euro land...).
A bit like the new Minibrute, but I think probably more aggressive sounding, as Arturia have toned down the filters and wot not on the Minibrute. Think I like the sound of this more.
I like the look of the new line 6 multi effects. The line 6 effects are pretty good imo. And it would be very good on synths too. I am surprised more synth people don’t use the line 6 stuff actually.
That does have some interesting stuff going on. It doesn't scream "NEED" at me, but I do indeed like the sound of it. I'll have to have another listen to the new Brute demo, I hadn't noticed or picked up on the fact that they changed the filter. The Brutes always seemed very dry to me, even with resonance.

Well you know I am a fan.
the DL4 classic green delay is sick for its modulated delays, that box on the BassStation (orig) is instant Boards of Canada nostalgia-y leads. I keep it on an aux send.

Yeah, their time and modulation effects I always really liked. It’s more the drive and amp stuff that just isn’t cutting it. Although it seems like they really stepped it up with helix, but I haven’t tried it.
I am thinking the hx could replace my effects switcher, modulation pedal, reverb and delay and whammy all in one go. I could keep my wha and drive pedals in front of it and then use it for 4 cable with my amp,AND it switches channels! Could cut my pedal board way down to size!
I haven’t seen any price or availability info on it tho.
my gripe is that the Korg prologue was so close to what I want but not quite there. If they had put a decent mod matrix and more than one lfo i would've bought one.
