Too late, mate..I already succumbed..and it was worth it all in the end.
Seriously though, I used to feel like that about iLok, but then I bought something without realizing it needed iLok and I had to use it..couldn't get my money back on what I bought, it being software.
I don't let it load automatically..I manually turn it on when needed.

i don't consider iLok parasitic, i have to use it for my Soundtoys bundle and Eventide plugs. Whats the big deal?

When I give away stuff for free, I'm not looking to collect information on you that I can sell. I just think that kind of thing is fundamentally immoral, that's all.
