Incorrect.

You could say that "way for people to bet" statement about any top sport.

A jockey needs peak physical fitness, they use different strategy based upon their gate allocation and also direct the horse where to go. They also determine the horses' pace during the race. No different to any other racing "driver", if you will.

You aren't a jockey just because you're small, and you don't have a race without a jockey. Although I guess you could say a carpark is just an F1 race without the drivers?

it's just about rich people and horses though isnt it

i know it's incorrect

but at the same time it's kinda true

then again i dont think golf is a sport... it's a skill... but that's just something i made up because i hate golf due to my step-dad watching it 24/7 and it is hands down the most boring television ever

I think I enjoyed this one the most:

But Paul Robinson scored from a goal kick last season too.

Re: Sporting Brilliance

A lot of players scored different types of awesome goals from half field or more (I think Xavi Alonso even scored 2 of those in one season...). what was brilliant about Maradona's one, was that it was straight from the kick off.

Anyway...

Re: Sporting Brilliance

OK so for most people this will just look like a dude driving an F1 car around Monaco but I assure you it isn't.
It's very easy to pick Senna now with his legendary status but in truth I have massive respect for all the drivers from this era simply because I understand a little bit about how mental these cars were, it's just that Senna footage is more popular/easier to find.

F1 fans should look out for the differences in track layout between then and now, the fact that the barriers are not crashtek barriers and the fact that he's having to change gear with a stick (driving one handed) for a large part of the lap.

Re: Sporting Brilliance

World class chess blitz game (3 minutes each, plus a 2 second increment per move).

A bit of background - Nakamura has (or maybe, had) an abrasive personality, being arrogant and petulant, but renowned for his tactical ability. Aronian is just a cool dude.

And analysis of the game:
