[FAWM] Paega's (relic) FAWM Tracks

FAWM 6: Ambient/drone from me! Lost of OTB processing/resampling. Also, this is called Beer Cans to Body Bags and is dedicated to my favorite party favor ever, Special K...it's about one of the most fun dates I ever went on with Special K.

FAWM NUMBA 7: Music for skanky ball trippin' ...pretty broken...maybe too broken...? Called it Broken Coricidin Bottles

FAWM NUMB 7

God I love 808s. The hat part in this is really nice. I really love it when the claps and lead come in around halfway through. Very eerie. It

Re: [FAWM] Paega's (relic) FAWM Tracks

some really dystopian ambience in the beginning,

that piano, and detuned leads don't fail to add to that feeling though,

and the claps, really add in to it, giving me a almost a factory kind of feeling, since its a little bouncy from the delay or reverb plate or just multiple claps being off by a few ticks, really feels like maybe a bunch of workers hitting or working in unison,

wow.

XD

but yeah love this man, big ups, I saw this last night on SC and I asn't able to check it out, but I'm glad I did now,

Re: [FAWM] Paega's (relic) FAWM Tracks

Thanks^ The claps are a combo of delay with short time and high feedback, reverb and multiple claps layered slightly off time.

My favorite producer for claps as got to be Eskmo...check out "Cloud Light" by him. Great layered claps.

Re: [FAWM] Paega's (relic) FAWM Tracks

his claps have this long attack, really interesting, kinda sounds like a field recording of something crunching, or maybe what you did, but sampled and reversed? who knows haha,

you have a huge knowledge artists, seriously just impressed with that, how do you even find half of it lmao?

I like that glitchy piano thing. Some of the parts it plays remind of some other song, I wish I could remember what it's called. I like what you have going. It's pretty satisfying when the drums and bass cut out and then come back in.

Like mentioned already, really liking the strings. Really digging the mix between bass and melody overall. The drums feel a bit naked before the bass comes in, loving the slow attack on the bassline at the end as well, like it's being thrown at the melody.

Thumbs up dude. Really chilled out, definitely a keeper. Hello march

I liked 3 and 4 (especially 4), they're coming along quite nicely and they work quite well together.
How many tracks are you aiming for?

Thank you. The goal is 14 tracks in 28 days. I always aim for 14, this is my third year and I've never finished in the past two. At the moment thing aren't looking much better. But I think this year I'll really have something I can polish and release.

What about aiming for a total running time rather than a number of tracks?

Sure, one could do anything potentially. There is an official project at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]

Re: [FAWM] Paega's (relic) FAWM Tracks

The pads are really good. I like the harmonies that they're playing a lot. I don't like the way the drums cut out and restart at the beginning. I think that would work better later in the track. The bass isn't what I would have expected, but it works really well. I'm excited to hear where you take this

Thanks man. I know this one needs tons of work. And yea...the drums cutting out there doesn't really work. I just realized there are 6 days left and I have to write 9 more songs LOL

I like mixing dark neuro style basses with different kinds of vibes where you wouldn't expect it.

The second link is pretty damn cool. Ths drums remind me of some older bjork stuff for some reason, maybe one of the songs Tricky did the backing tracks for.

Re: [FAWM] Paega's (relic) FAWM Tracks

With the beginning the drum parts coming in and out, I didnt mind it so much second time listening to it because I was listening to that chord progression pad that sounds also like a grocery cart moving/getting hit?

the bass got me off guard though, I like it man, sounds deeps.

I think its really good considering I went back to listen to it 3 times,
