not really...i was just curious.

i have no interest in reproducing their sound, but i was listening to their album today and thought it would be nice to read what kind of gear they had

to say that they used one digital wavetable synth, and that you just need to "learn to program"

...sounds like the words of someone who has no clue what they did actually use, and wants to defend them for some reason

multiple artists use the same gear

relax lol

The closest I've got to the Boards of Canada sound is in some of this stuff:

Retro/vintage synth emulation(mostly Moog emulation in the video above) recorded onto (old/damaged)tape.. The more imperfections/tape saturation, the closer you'll get to the BoC sound in my opinion
