Re: [Tech House] Voyidge - Exodus

That 3-note answer part is a little loud and dry. It also feels quite awkward rhythm-wise.

The bassish/reverb sound with the slow attack has a little too much reverb and seems to go out of tune when it hits its lowest note. That can happen with EQ sometimes but it might be something in the design of the sound itself.

Quite catchy, nice work

Yo so the first thing I noticed right off the bat was the mixing. It really isn't that bad but I think you have too much bass in the left and right channel. Typically I'd use a mid to side eq on my master and cut out some of the bass in the side. (It's the only time in mixing I use my headphones.) Also the "wah wah" synth sounds a bit cheap and could have a bit more body to it. I also don't like how repetitive it is throughout the mix. Also your crashes at 2:09 are wayyyy too loud. Believe me if you think you have your hi hats / cymbals quiet enough they probably aren't; I do it all the time as well as a lot of amateurs. The song in general is a tad bit too repetitive with some synths basically playing boring melody that has no emotion attached to it. Synths pads that come in at around 1:48 are also kinda cheap sounding and mixed a bit too quiet. So overall a bit too repetitive and doesn't convey anything happy or sad or anything in between.
