I don't know if there's a work around to this but if I want to make changes to the oscillators, envelopes, etc... after I have already recorded it, with analogue you have to go back and rerecord the whole thing again.

Or maybe I'm just a dumbass.

I'm not even sure what you are asking...if you record a digital hardware synthesizer or even record the audio from a VST...and then you change a setting you still have to re-record the audio to capture the changes. Analog or digital has nothing to do with it...

I didn't know that hardware synths came in both digital and analogue forms. I thought digital meant soft synths in which case I record to midi. I guess I have no idea what I'm talking about.
