Does FL Studio have input quantizing (auto-quantize)?

Hello.

So I am wondering if FL Studio has input quantizing, you know, where the MIDI input is automatically quantized as it's recorded?

Reaper has it, but it's kind of buggy. It can only successfully quantize 8th notes or bigger. It seems to mess up badly with 16th or 32nd notes on my system. I already reported the bug to Cockos, but I haven't gotten a response yet.

EnergyXT has input quantizing too, and it works perfectly, but I don't want to be limited to EnergyXT because it's buggy in other ways and the support is nearly non-existent after all these years of glacier-slow development.

If FL Studio has input quantize, it could really speed up my workflow.

It's called 'global snap'. It's the dropdown with the little magnet in the recording panel. MIDI input will be quantised to whatever measure you set.

Hey, thanks so much. I will try this out when I get home.
This could be really handy if it's what I'm looking for...

Re: Does FL Studio have input quantizing (auto-quantize)?

Hey thanks Jaded, you were right. I found the drop-down menu.

The only downside is that for some wierd reason all my notes end up 2 sixteenth notes BEFORE the beat even though it sounds like it's playing in time with the metronome. I guess that's the price I pay for using Linux. But the timing is still better than what I get using Reaper's input quantizing. ...And that's annoying since Reaper's timing without input quantizing is good. I might need to tweak my settings again.
