Can anybody recommend a freeware VST effect that is an upward expander that works on selectable bands, hopefully with adjustable Q-width?
Also, can somebody please recommend a freeware VST effect good for upward compression with all the basic compressor adjustables availble?
And does anybody know how to get TLs Maximizer (the limiter version with EQ built-in) working within Reaper? I used to use it alot, but the last times I tried it on Reaper it didn't work.
Thanks in advance.

Reason: Found items I was looking for. Sharing them with you guys now.
There is actually a version 1.69 of CS12m but it's hard to find on the net.
If anybody is interested in it, PM me with your email and I can email it to you (it's freeware too).
Summary: So I put those 2 VST effects on my master mix bus and set the lookahead limiter to dual mono with the minimum release time.
I set the audio output level of lookahead limiter to -0.1 dbFS and it's the last thing in the chain before rendering. It's an excellent way to work.
The dual mono mode is used instead of linking because often one side of the stereo pair will be doing something that the other side isn't doing.
That's the nature of stereo and things like autopanning or stereo phasing or automated pans or just regular panning.
Linking the limiter channels would destroy the imaging and also make the overall levels slightly lower.
That's it! Good luck

It turned out to not be freeware and I didn't want to mess with it's installer so I didn't use it. I did find a way to extract the DLL from inside the installer using 7zip, but it was missing some resources and wouldn't run in Reaper. Like I said, I didn't want to mess with it's installer and I found iQ4gui instead.
