Need help setting up a Midi Device to work on reaper

im new to reaper, im on the free version.
i bought a Korg nano Kontrol 1 not the 2.
i want to know how to assign knobs and faders.
any1 know how to set this up? im on a macbook pro

a quick video guide would be greatly appreciated =]

I would think for the most part this would fall true for the Kontrol 1 version up to a point..

iv done all of this, and nothing responds, the lights are turned on, and my mac recognizes the NANO. but it is not responding.

ok, i know my device is being recognized because i found out how to assign stuff under actions. i did the play and stop button, and they work.

but i dont know how to assign the rest of the sliders/kobs/buttons on the korg kontrol editor.

here is a picture of what my screen looks like, not sure if this will help.

they say 1 picture is greater then 1000 words =]

maybe this will help..not sure how Logic handles midi so I am not must help with it..
