So Ive been doing some textured sound scapes with white noise lately and I am constantly amazed by what you can do with this sound of true random proportions. Basically I want to see what other creative minds can do with white noise so I figured why not establish some friendly competition. If you wish to participate there is only one rule. You can only use white noise as your sound. You can use any FX plugins but no drums or synths, unless they are white noise.. . Anyways If your interested I think it would be bad ass to work something out. heres some white noise literature for those interested. [Only registered and activated users can see links. Have your noise posted by August 6th. You dont win a damn thing except some creative insight from your IDM peers.
Your track must be less than 6 minutes.
Also, It is ok to change your track between now and the 6th.
Update:
Ok folks sorry I didnt post at midnight 12 hours ago, I was away at a friends studio making some music late night style. Anyways I just wanted to say thanks to all who participated and added creative glue to this humongous pile of ideas and imagination. I hope that those who knew few about white noise can now benefit in their ability to produce music, and I hope that those who knew lots about white noise already became inspired and enlightened. I can say that Im thankful to have picked up a few tricks from this thread, made a few friends, and helped to open a creative portal were people from around the world could share their creative thoughts. As I said in the beginning, there is no prize except for the satisfaction gained from song completion and the knowledge you may gain from what others do. Now lets take a look at the submissions, This time Ill start from the last submission and work up to the first.

While I believe in using noise to make tracks more interesting, I don´t think you should make an ENTIRE track by using noise (be it white, pink or brown)...
Alright heres what I did today, basically pure random texture. Listen with monitors and a sub I got some surprising sub sounds out of the noise. Feel free to download it and take some samples.
