Hey folks,
So this here is my first attempt at Trap. It's a collaboration with a coworker who goes by the name of Snacks. It also happens to be the first collab that I've finished.
This started as an idea that I came up with on Machine. I felt like it didn't really go with most of my other stuff so I just let it sit for a while. One day I was chatting with Snacks and we thought it would be fun to collab. I decided the loop I created had the most trap promise and decided to send it his way. We worked on it back and forth for around a month and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
One thing that I'm really curious about is the low end in the mix. My setup in my studio has a bit of a wonky sub so I'm a little paranoid it's too bass heavy or light. I'd appreciate feedback on the mix and mastering as well. It's been a while since I mixed a track and it's also my first time mastering an electronic song.
What are your thought's? Anything I could tweak?
Thanks in advance, I appreciate the listen
