Icon4 glitch tip: random noise

wanted to share my interesting trick,
load random, non one cycle wav into 3xOSC or other synth that expects wav to be one cycle (wavetable), each key will have unique sound you can also morph between this unique sounds by automating tuning, but tuning must be precise to get desired effect, because each 10-20 cents change sound drastically

Depends on the synth. I think the most common one that would do something like this would be serum, if you have that (I don't so I could be wrong, or it might not be as easy as I imagine).

Also, check this out.

3xOSC, depends on synth. underlying mechanism is that extreme folding occurs, you can do this without loading sample as well, tune osc as high as possible, and turn up master tuning as well

Re: glitch tip: random industrial noise

I like doing this with drum loops. It sounds completely insane, especially if you turn on stereo detune and phase offset.
