What Hardware or what Technique is this KICK!?

I want to know how you can produce a Kick like this either with Hardware or Software or other.
Can this alsobe achieved with the new Roland Tr8 Dummachine?

I think the technique is called sample-selection, EQ, filter and amplitude envelope.

W/o listening I can assure you that you don't need hardware to reproduce whatever it is. Having listened briefly, you don't need a TR-8 to do that. If you want to use hardware, use hardware. But if I sat down and thought about what was going on here I could do this with Goldbaby or Wavealchemy samples and my DAW's stock FX.

Then my second question would be, how do i produce a kick with those percussions like that, can somebody give me some tipps about that?
