Fun fact: The album already has a famous listener: Alan Parsons, the engineer of the second most successful album in history: Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon" (only Michael Jackson's "Thrilller" sold more copies)...
He was also involved in the production of two Beatles albums, and is also known for his Alan Parsons Project of course.

How did that come about? A friend of mine was addressed at a bar by a lady - after talking for a while she (that woman) invited her to the concert of her husband on the next evening... so it turned out it was the wife of Alan Parsons.
She (the friend) then conceived the plan to visit the bar again after the concert to maybe say goodbye to Mrs. Parsons, this time maybe in company of his husband. For that case, she planned to give him a copy of my album.
She then had a merry time there with Alan's family and the band
Mr. Parsons showed delighted interest in the album, he wanted to know more about it and promised to listen to it

Praise to the involved trumpeters:

Tetsuroh Konishi from Saitama, Japan, cultivates an anthemic lyricism, he developed a strong reputation for his music composition and performance in Japan and beyond, collaborating in the art scene across multiple genres including writing, production, and education.

Australian born trumpeter Toby Mak was mentored throughout his highschool years by Motown legend Gil Askey, today he is an in-demand sideman and jazz soloist, currently living in Shanghai.

Frank Wilke represents a more free jazz approach, he is a classically trained tenor saxophonist who expanded his skills to the trumpet and other wind instruments, bustling in diverse ensembles in the German Ruhr district and worldwide collaborations.

All of the three also being active in electronic music, they were a perfect match for this project.

Now for the prolific remixers

Cogi from Manchester runs the netlabel Broken Bubble which could qualify as a branch of history-charged label Ninja Tune, having dished up 34 releases since 2011. "difficult-to-classify sounds like post-dubstep, future garage, dubfunk, ..."

His sampledelica/breaks style is playfully psychedelic, on this remix it's more mystic trip hop. Not only did he manage to find a distinct groove mode for the beatless original and a deviating atmosphere - like the other remixers -, he even pulled off the feat to coherently combine the trumpets from both original versions of this track:

The next remixer to introduce is Nightkites from Brighton...

Early being supported by Norman Cool = Fatboy Slim, he deepens the cinematic qualities of enigmatic Burial-esque dark future garage / post-breakbeat. Fallen angels sing their songs in postapocalyptic ruins to the groove of some ghostly machines.
His recent album: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]

Give this sublime "Drones" (#4) a listen...

For my album, he concocted this divine anthemic remix

The 3rd remix on my album is from Firnwald - whose arcane trip-hopish version smiles a secret smile:

Firnwald brews wondrous flows of freestyle in the heights of the German Allgäu: "weird beats, hypermodern soundscapes, blackmetal jazz, dark funk, strange drone songs" as he tries to name the unclassifiable.
The last 10 years have seen a plethora of Firnwald albums and EPs (mostly under Creative Commons licence) - some to be found at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]

His netlabel Laridae takes his muse even further - check out the surprise bag of all these free releases of highly imaginative producers: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]

Two more remixers to introduce...

encym from London is very prolific, creating bizarre dubby acousmatic soundscapes with guitar and transforming electronics. "Cliff Martinez meets Boards of Canada", as he puts it. (Martinez = score for films like Traffic, Solaris, Arbitrage, The Neon Demon, ...)

His IDM'ish remix propels with a wonky frantic groove:

Finally - Jan Nemeček closes the album with a truly epic psychedelic trip:

Jan from Belgrade is one of Serbia's finest electronic musicians.
I highly recommend this (free) compilation featuring some of his remixes: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]

Boom, Kenny! Very much appreciated!

Current Star Wars soundtrack trumpeter Daniel Rosenboom ordered a copy, by the way
