Track Examination

I wrote a blog post analysing a track I made.

"This song was inspired by reading about structure forms. The ABAABBCBBAABA form intrigued me because of its symmetrical nature. It is an interesting approach considering the possibilities of computer programming. Not only can you make symmetry in the form, you can also apply it on samples by reversing them or to automation of volume or other parameters.

With some screenshots and commentary I will try to explain a bit about how I composed this song.

Re: Track Examination

Thanks for sharing it. This is a really interesting aproach to composing, and sonically it works very well IMO. One cool thing is that you can see the simmetry of the structure even on the waveform of the project. I'm definitely going to try using this structure as well.
