The first track is electro house. AKA how to "layering different Loopmasters samples on top of each other".
The second track is breaks. Well at least that's what they used to call it. I believe the name they decided for it in 2004 was "Nu-Skool Breaks" because they needed a way to distinguish it from the classic breakbeat sound... which most people were calling "Big Beat" by that time anyway.
