Largest modular synth

FML...Imagining the cost...

And I think it can be played from home. There's a video to go along with my link, that has the guy, from MIT, speaking about it and how it works. Plus, it can be played from your computer, I guess.

About to check it out. =D

EDIT - Seems, it's going down for a week or so...

Re: Largest modular synth

Can't mess with it or watch the video as I am at work but that guy, from MIT I guess, kind of looks like Robert DeNiro.

Re: Largest modular synth

"Im Robert DeNiro and this is my synthesizer".

It looks mesmerizing...all those cables. My computer is effed up at the moment, so I cant use flash applications and cant test the control-it-through-your-browser feature. Damn!

Re: Largest modular synth

What a huge synth, it is muuuch more bigger than Moog Modular

It seems a good synth but I dont think that it is necessary to build such huge synth for sound desing or for music.
Sure that a lot of modules can be simplified...

This is an impressive and probably really expensive synt.

You should check out [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]
, there's a documentary on youtube, very interesting and it is probably a bit larger than this gigantic modular.
