Re: Richard Devine studio tour!

If I could have any synth of my choice it'd have to be that TI Polar.

What a beautiful thing that is.

One day...

No really...

Like maybe when the kids grow up.

Dunno, I had a Virus TI Snow and sold it because it was too much like software... But then I guess the polar is bigger and has more controls meaning it will feel more like a hardware synth than the Snow does...

If I'd have this much gear, I'll also have to have a bed and a kitchen in as well. I won't be leaving the studio. Maybe I'll build one of those micro ecosystems in so i'll have things to eat.

He's a great sound designer, and puts that gear to great use.

Re: Richard Devine studio tour!

I wish they didn't cut what he's saying several times during the vid. Or at least give a link to the complete session. The filming was pretty horrendous too, hazardous zooming, bad focusing, many amateurs do a better job than that. It's like the guy never used a camera before...

Couldn't agree more. They have always sucked when it comes to filming, lighting, audio and overall editing. Embarrassing.

I'm sure Richard would do a stellar job if he had to "film himself" and edit it all together.

Re: Richard Devine studio tour!

I also quite liked the interview with him that was shot for the documentary "I dream of Wires"

It was also shot better and they don't cut him off like they do in the FM interview.

I want to see an entire documentary on Jack Dangers - he's the absolute best there is.
