Thanks to everyone who listened and left a comment! Much appreciated.
The Rhodes is an amazing instrument. I feel like I got some decent sound out of it, but the possibilities are much higher than what I was able to do. With tape delays and echos/chorus/etc, it really comes alive.
I hope to make many more of these volumes in the future and release them. It was a joy to make!
I love how well it could work as a bass or treble instrument.
It's really amazing. The Rhodes by itself has many different tones you can coax out of it. Just in the bass section alone, if you press lightly you get a sub bass type tone, if you press firm you get a growling bass tone. Unfortunately my Rhodes is in need of a tune-up so I wasn't really able to showcase the sound all that well, but I did what I could. The Rhodes is very versatile instrument though. You just have to get creative with it.
Man, I wish, wish, WISH I had an SP-303 Dr. Sampler to run it through, because I miss the tremolo/auto-pan effect that box had. Playing a Rhodes through tremolo/auto-pan is just magical. Unfortunately my MV-8800 doesn't have a tremolo or pan effect or I would have used it for this project.
Anyway, thanks again for listening and keep the comments coming!
