An insult to both Christianity and C3-POlogy. Logray as Andrew is a bit of a stretch. Is that Chukha-Trok as James? The least said about Judas the better.
Tune: I dig it, though it feels a bit long for how loopy it is (or vice versa). Needed more of a hook, or perhaps some more space.
Your picture literally speaks to me.
Awesome. I dig the squarism concept and applaud the analogue effort.
The intro is some awesome 80s porn music, but then clown melodies and the clapping kind of puts me off my stroke (IAWAITT), and then the discord begins... I cannot dig it except in its quietest moments.
That's clearly Wicket sat on a rock, smoking a bone. I love it.
Crisp percussion. Fresh freshes. Bass sounds like it's coming from the venue next door though. I wish it had bright sparkles like the rest. Lovely bit of ravey grooviness all the same.
Elegant simplicity. The Ewok as standard bearer for the competition. Good teeth, but the arms need work.
Honk, you don't need no donk when you funk pop the shonk. This is my runaway favourite.
Best Ewok picture:
I loved everyone's, especially those who actually put pen/pencil to paper, MFXxx's is my favourite though.
The beautiful mess produced by 7asid. So simple, so expressive. It has shortcomings, and they are not hidden. It makes almost no case for itself and yet it is gorgeous.
For the best track, it was a tough choice between Brb, MFXxx, and White Noise.
My personal choice would be MFXxx's tune because it's more of my style of music than any of the other tracks. (I used to listen to dubstep a lot, both the minimal form and the tearout ear rape).
White Noise's track is very "out of the box" but still pleasing. Not my style of music, but then again I know that my brains work too "schematically" (I hope that's the right word) to ever come up with something like this, so I respect it for that.
However, from an unbiased standpoint as if I were a judge for some official production comp with multiple genres, Brb's tune has imo and according to what I'm listening on, the best production quality/mixdown, and more musicality than the other 2.
I vote Brb for the best track.
As for pics, MFXxx for the best artwork. I/O for the best laughs (I seriously died).
Voting is over and we have a tie! In fact we have two ties.
I am the host so I cast the deciding vote, and I'm not voting for myself, so congratulations to 7asid, worthy winner of beat battle 56!
I am delighted for there to be a joint first place in the Ewok drawing competition, so congratulations to I/O and MFXxx, and to everybody else. In a way, we are all winners in the Ewok drawing competition.
