Hay guise. I am in the market for a new delay plugin. I have some already but none really seem to have exactly what I want. I need one that has wet/dry as two separate controls, for one. Preferably it should have a way to switch from mono to stereo as I'll be using it for different applications. But really just rattle off some delays you dig and I'll gratefully give them a look-see. Thank you kindly.
As you can see from the image above..it does have separate wet and dry controls you're looking for..and it will work great for all the things you mentioned. They currently have it on offer until the end of the month (€20 off the usual €49), but make sure to try out the demo first if you're interested.
They also offer a cut-down free version, which is basically just one big knob..
..actually, there are few controls on it, but the main effect control is the big one. Trust me, grab this even if you don't want to spend out on the other one..it has the same great sound as ReFlex Pro.
The uhbiks are nice processors with a vintage flair. They are geared towards more or less obviously synthetic-sizing sounds with effects (though flangers and phasers always sound like that to me...) and do a great job at treating acoustic instruments. They aren't very subtle and definitely have a bit of their own sound. Being dedicated effects they're not the most versatile things, but they do have some tricks up their sleeve.
They are an option for FX plugin group, but if you already have plenty of good-sounding FX i'd pass on them. They're not a unique-ish must-have option like Presswerk and Bazille are. MFM2 is amazing, but really expects you to know what you are doing. The UI isn't the most intuitive one, either. Still best dedicated delay I've used.
