Nice interview Relic and RFJ; I started listening last night, plan on finishing today. So cool to hear the backstory of how people get into music, and their influences.
Great interview, I really enjoyed it and found it inspiring. I enjoyed the concept of making something that is an echo of what you heard or felt- that certainly speaks to me personally and really is what drives me when I create a song. Also really love hearing about the musical journey from where you start and finding your way. That's really what it is all about. Keeping at it and finding your way through not knowing to have the light click on here and there and growing as an artist. Really love these interviews.

Okay who is next????
Its good to talk about it w/o knowing the questions ahead. It makes me remember why I got into all this and what I wanted to accomplish. Of course goals and inspiration change...but going back to your beginner's mind is refreshing. Reminds me that we are all still students. Especially myself.
Anybody else ever watched 'Inside the Actors Studio'..?
You must have...?
You know how they have that standard list of q's they always ask at the end...?
Quote:
What is your favorite word?
What is your least favorite word?
What turns you on?
What turns you off?
What sound or noise do you love?
What sound or noise do you hate?
What is your favorite curse word?
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
What profession would you not like to do?
If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?
We should get our own version of that going for future interviews.

RFJ did that list with me at the end of ours. I honestly always found the answers somehow fascinating.
Ahhh, you got me...
I swear I was just about to listen to it, no lie.
Fcuk!
that's really going to look like I just wrote that, but yeah I was just coming here to get around to having a listen and that occurred to me, nice one RFJ.
Did he do that in one of the other one's he's a done?
Come in RFJ.
Those are great, very open-ended questions. They can give some very interesting insight into the person answering them. Especially, if you don't think about them beforehand.
They always produce at least one fantastic answer.

Of the two interviews I've conducted, relic and unknown_artist, yes I've done that on both. Althoug I credit French talkshow host Bernard Pivot with the questionarre before doing it each time, not James Lipton.
Glad you guys find them interesting and yes we should come up with our own.
so i'm all set up to do a skype interview but i'm unsure if they'll be online for it, anyone up for getting interviewed shortly? I'll give it half hour from now and if they've not appeared i'm good to go? be a shame to waste the time
