Icon5 Please help finding minimal

So i went to this "end of the world" party on the 21st of December and they played the most awesome tracks... like... organic, warm, melodic, dubby, minimal techno or something like that.

Any experts around who can help me find what they were playing?

Only tracks that i found that kind of remind me of that style are these... with the bongo type drum percussion and the woody melodies... (the melodies were like different woody sounds layered on top of each other throughout the track to make the final melody)... also there were very few hi-hats or they were very toned down... bass was warm and breathing...

From/at around 02:00:

From/at like 01:45, the basslines were more like this i think:

Any pointers will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

i'd delve into the some of the berlin berghain residents discogs for that kind of thing

Re: Please help finding minimal

A good start is Robert Hood's Minimal Nation, one of the best techno albums period. The UR sound stripped to its bare essentials. Hard to believe its almost 20 years old.

The first minimal track that I fell in love with was 808 The Bass Queen by Ricardo Villalobos. I think the the main synth sound is an 808 cowbell that's been time-stretched and delayed until it's almost unrecognizable, but I could be wrong. It's one of those tracks where you just sit back in a comfy chair with nice cans and just float away.
