Good deathstep?

I'm looking for good deathstep tracks. And by deathstep I mean dubstep with death metal influences.
I'm looking for some really brutal stuff.
Something like Claw, The Entity, Substep Infrabass, Lone Wolf, Chaos Royale, Mortuary Disco and so on.

If you have any suggestions feel free to post them! Thanks.

No results found: Concluded that combination is impossible. Do you want to emit "Deathstep" or "Good" from your search terms.

I appreciate the sarcasm. But that's not really the case. I've head some good deathstep before, although it's hard to find good stuf (I'll give you that).
For instance:

Mortuary Disco
Lone Wolf - Slayed by Shadows
Chaos Royale - Anna Supernova

Anyway, I'm looking for more than trolling, you might want to provide something more than that. If you don't have suggestions then please do not reply to this topic. Thanks.

I'm looking for something like this:

Re: Good deathstep?

Lonewolf and Substep Infrabass are alright I guess but this sound in general is a little too heavy on the 'bro' for my liking. You could try Vex'd I guess? They sampled Meshuggah (not Death Metal I know) once I believe. Distance also has a big Metal influence.

Re: Good deathstep?

To be fair, that was better than the examples I had heard. I'd still not go for "good" as an adjective, though. It kind of doesn't sound angry enough, but doesn't have that dark slow ambience either. It certainly feels like the artists are going more for the novelty value than actual artistic expression.

Maybe if they went for the parts of dubstep that have some "metal"-credibility, I.E: The ambience, rather than just trying to make metal with TEH WOBZ, they'd have more success. The combination of blastbeats on top of dubstep "riffs" only serves to clog the field up and remove any breathing space the track had. After a short while it just loses the impact, as it fails to take you by surprise.

Granted, it could also be solved by having proper arrangements, but that way it wouldn't alienate dubstep listeners enough to be considered its' own subgenre, and as such, people listening to it would not get the necessary high of feeling musically superior.

Re: Good deathstep?

Also: Some metal bands, specially industrial metal bands, are also experimenting with dubstep ingredients in their tracks. Here's an example:

Seth.ECT is an Industrial Death Metal band:

Re: Good deathstep?

This may be a no brainer, but Celldweller comes to mind if you're looking for rock infused dubstep. Check out his latest ep and album.

Re: Good deathstep?

Give 'Mantis' a listen, they used to be some kind of death metal outfit I believe, before they turned to electronic music.... check out their remix of Suicide Silence's "Slaves to Substance", might be the sort of thing you are looking for

not sure if you meant, that the tracks contain real death metal elements, or just influences (really brutal and aggressive dubstep).

If you're just looking for extremely brutal stuff, check out Bratkilla.

Re: Good deathstep?

This is quite funny, I used to be in an underground Death Metal band called EVOKE. I'll have to start sampling our old tracks. That would impress my old band mates. NOT!
