A-Z of terminology

as requested by a few people, here is an A-Z of production terminology.
I will keep adding to this forever, so if you have any suggestions feel free to reply here with them, PM me or ask a mod to add them.

since this is going to be huge i will do things a little at a time.

I am going to start by copy 'n' pasting from music radars articles here:

I feel that a few things could do with some extra explanation, so i will do that as i go, and please suggest any changes/additions that you feel should be made. i also feel that some things do not need to be included, such as the names of DAWs and synths e.t.c. because if we include those the list will go on forever.
