/EDIT (GBSR):
cleaned up as per request.
this thread is for sharing only. discussion goes elsewhere./EDIT
following a discussion in another thread i am setting up this thread for people to share their field recordings.
all recordings are welcomed, especially the wacky ones.
im going to bed so i will be uploading some next time im here.
EDIT:
this thread is not for pushing your tracks or getting opinions on them. it is for field recordings! other samples you have made/recorded that are not field recordings will still fit nicely into the thread and we are grateful for them, but the listening booth is the place for your tracks.
thanks

i uploaded all the recordings i could find. many of them are recorded too close but they dont sound too bad. also the ones i recorded at work (all the reach truck ones) have got a lot of background noise, but despite being in the quietest corner of the building this was the best i could do. they are still usable though, depending on what you want to get out of them.
rather than post them all up one by one they are all on my side soundcloud page here:
I know it isn´t a field recording, but it´s a recording. MR RFJ posted a video a while back and I downloaded the audio from youtube. I then did some stuff to the audio and will upload the stuff I came up with soon, as a sample pack with RFJ´s voice.
Here is a sample of what you an do with the samples:
Samples recorded in the kitchen. Including the amazing sounds of: Seeds falling into glass, water being poured, beans tumbling into plastic containers, the ever dangerous knife-edges colliding and a few more! What will you do with yours?

I don't have anything up here right now. But I own an h2n and have gigs of useful recordings I only just finished properly organizing on my computer. Gonna try to get at least a few things up by the end of the day. Lots of nature recordings, lots of random ambience, some one-shots, etc etc...
^ That's 30+ hits I think(been a while since I looked at it) that I made from field recordings at work. Things like hitting metal with stuff, bouncing springs off of a pile of screws, and just whatever.
Was a fun experience, I made hits because I recorded them through my phone and the gain on the mic recording through SC was annoying me. Though, I'm keeping the uncut recordings for myself.
I'll also add, if you search a bit, even donate a bit of dough(search it up - could be wrong) the forums offers a nice bit of sample packs, some from Benwaa himself, so many possibilites, I haven't seen the need to look for samples(other than the hats pack I already have in a while.
Love my percs now. Variation plus time is awesome. Organic, adds to the flavor.
EDIT - Donate for some awesome packs. It costs less than Vengeance packs and helps support the community you use.
