honestly as for the best sounding music id have to go with 70's. only because the 60's sounded a little safe but not as factor copied as the 50s, but the 70s sounds like people really started coming into their styles. then the 80s ruined those styles by adding crappy synth sounds and they discovered reverb.. thanks alot phil collins lol
80's most unique- 70's recycled + black liberation (us)- 60's LSD- 50's women's liberation (us)- 40's turmoil & deep emotion, experimental orchestra and big band/jazz. blues roots but far from mainstream- (us)- 90's- college triumph & rise (us) - 2000- 2007-- rise of r&b, mainstream rap, and country (us)-- 2008-2014....... decline in mainstream intelligence and morale to the point of intrusive and caveman-like-behaviors & interractions. 2014-future.... hopefully a rise in intelligence bc of the internet. but who the fuck knows. my favorite?.... idk yet- i grew up w the 90's so that has a strong emotional tie to me. the 2000's early on were kind of transitional for me so thats where my music production roots lie. and present is pretty much a crap shoot for me- just introverting into things that actually matter and turning off the radio & television.
