how do you get this effect?

In the track AK47 by W&W there's a looping effect on the word "acid" where the start and end time of the loop is initially very short and gradually increases so it goes like" a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-c-a-c-a-c-a-c-i-a-c-i-a-c-i-d"

How can you replicate this effect in FL Studio. I know you can do it on direct wave, but I'm sure there are better ways

Thanks in advance

Answered you own question? Automate start and end times of the loop. Also, you could just chop it. ...sure there is some kind of looper VST you could automate.

I had an idea but couldn't figure out how to explain it clearly without pictures...

Load two instances of Edison

Doing that I ended up with this:

Really? I don't think it'd be that much of a pain...you could do it in a separate project file and bounce the finished project. Once you get all your parts cut right, all you have to do is copy and paste them...that'd probably give you the most direct control over the audio.

Re: how do you get this effect?

Idk about fl studio, but this is really a tracker type effect. Basically, you just set the song rate really high and use sample commands to make it so small sections loop. Here's it being done in renoise:
