Re: Anybody thinking about purchasing the Arturia Minibrute?

The Minibrute does look really cool. I almost want to buy it in support of a VST company that went against the grain and built some REAL analog hardware!!

Listening to online sound demos, I think the DSI Mopho Keyboard is more my thing for a single osc machine. I'd love to get my hands on a minibrute and put it through it's paces though!

Re: Anybody thinking about purchasing the Arturia Minibrute?

Looks like a smaller version of the Little Phatty (in terms of specs) plus more.
If you'd want to get into analog synthesizers, this would be an excellent choice to start.

just wondering how it sounds lol compared to other synths.

Re: Anybody thinking about purchasing the Arturia Minibrute?

Hell yes I am.

I was waiting for the Moog Minitaur for my first synth purchase - and then I saw the Minibrute and I was like "ta hell with the Moog". The Minibrute IMO, is what Moog Minitaur SHOULD be.

My only choice now is the Arturia, or maybe going for a DSI Mopho.

I love all things moog, but the routing on the minibrute looks absolutely awesome. Can't believe what you're getting at that price point

Re: Anybody thinking about purchasing the Arturia Minibrute?

It looks fantastic , i have to admit i was swept with all the hype when this thing was first released. spend my money on DIVA instead and couldn't be happier. If i wanted to go analogue this would be on the top three to look into. DSI just released a polyphonic version of the mopho (X4) that could very well be the beast i'm looking for. would recommend the minibrute, but as with anything, have a good shop around and see what else the market has to offer.
